Dream Board

AKA Vision Board
AKA Goal Board
AKA Future Board

Everyone needs to have some vision of what they want in life. Having these dreams will help us make goals to achieve.
Every 8th grader student will complete a Dream board through their Language Arts class at the beginning of the school year.
The counselors will facilitate an activity where you will take an interest inventory to get you thinking about your future, then you will create a Dream Board that represents your vision of what you want you future to be!

Directions:
1. Log into your gmail account and create a new document. You will be printing this doc so put your name at the top so it is easier to get it back to you.
2. Find pictures that are meaningful to you and your future. You can use those we have included in the catagories below, or by finding your own. Just make sure they are school appropriate! Copy the pic you want and paste it into your google doc.
3. Once you have all the pics you need in your google doc, print the doc.
4. Use your pics and the provided poster paper, markers, scissors, and glue to create your Dreamboard.
5. Take your Dreamboard home and hang it somewhere that you will see it often, reminding yourself all your hard work now will pay off and give you the life you hope for!
